Love at First
Bite!
In the summer of 2002, God spoke to my spirit while in my dining room. Previously, He called me to make my cakes for a fundraiser. Being obedient to the call, the success of these cakes emerged. My volunteer service to the community was extremely rewarding. Then, God led me to Calvin's Bocage Supermarket in Baton Rouge, LA. I was guided by the spirit to make five cakes (5 is grace; four to sell and one to sample. That was several years ago and many thousands of cakes ago. I am blessed that these cakes now sell in many fine stores.
I hope that everyone that reads my story follows the leading of the Holy Spirit and His will, by faith and not by sight. Stay focused and know that all things are possible to those who believe. I hope that you enjoy Marie's Chestnut Cakes and if you do, please tell your friends.
